1.Brief introduction
·The water drainage clip is a component that is used in photovoltaic (PV) panel installations to ensure proper water drainage from the panels. It is typically made of a durable and weather-resistant material, such as ASA/ABS or Aluminium.
·The clip is designed to be attached to the bottom edge of each PV panel, creating a small gap between the panel and the mounting surface. This gap allows water that accumulates on the panel to flow down and away, preventing water from pooling or causing damage to the panels.
2.Why it works
·Siphon theory is a method used in water drainage systems to move water from one location to another using atmospheric pressure. It relies on the fact that water will flow from a higher level to a lower level due to gravity.
·This theory can be applied to solar panel water drainage systems to efficiently remove excess water and prevent damage to the panels.

4.Material & specification-ABS/ASA
·ABS/ASA material: ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is a copolymer which has a good strength and durability. ASA (acrylonitrile styrene acrylate) is a broad-use commodity thermoplastic. It is similar to ABS but exhibits better UV resistance, mechanical properties and aesthetics than ABS.
·ABS has service life of 5 years while ASA’s service life can up to 15 years and has better anti-UV performance.

5.Material & specification-Aluminium
·Aluminium material: Use 1060 aluminium which has excellent corrosion and good formability.

There are 8 holes on the top which drain debris or silver sand.
