A single-post driven ground-mount structure — one pile per frame line, driven straight into the ground.
- System: single-post driven pile ground mount
- Foundation: driven steel pile, no concrete
The economy of a single post
A single-post design uses the fewest foundations per kilowatt — fast to install with a pile driver and no concrete cure time — but it puts more demand on each pile and on the soil, so foundation capacity must be confirmed with site pull-out and lateral tests. See ground mounting systems.
