A rail-less system that fixes modules straight to brackets — fewer parts, less to carry up.
- System: rail-less bracket mounting
Taking the rail out of the equation
Rail-less mounting attaches each module to shared brackets at its fixing points, cutting the aluminium rail — and its weight and cost — out of the system. It rewards a regular module layout and precise setting-out, and shifts more of the load path into the roof fixings, which then have to be sized and tested accordingly. See metal roof systems.
