BSRM is Bangladesh’s best-known steel maker, and its rooftop solar sits where the group’s plants do — on the Chattogram coast. The delivered anchor is the BSRM Wires plant at Mirsharai: 3.266 MWp of grid-tied rooftop solar commissioned in 2024, engineered and installed by EPC partner SCUBE Technologies on Solaracks mounting structures.
Coastal Chattogram makes corrosion a design driver alongside wind. Solaracks rooftop structures are aluminium with third-party salt-spray evidence to ISO 9227 — the test reports, with document numbers, are on the certifications page — which is the material conversation a steel group’s engineers expect to have before anything goes on their roofs.
The relationship continues at Faujdarhat, where a 6.698 MWp fourth phase is in execution across BSRM Group roofs — one of them carrying the company’s name painted across the sheet metal — and extends to the group’s BSRM Frobel Academy campus at 128.96 kWp.
