A prestressed high-strength concrete pile, driven to depth through water or soft ground — and a frame that clamps on, not in. Two galvanised half-hoops bolt around the Ø300–500 mm pile head and carry every load through friction and bearing: 0 site welds, 0 drilled holes, no grout collar. Height and level adjust on the hoops before final torque.

Part of the ground mounting range — built for fishponds, tidal flats, reservoirs and soft-soil sites, with four corrosion systems matched to permanent waterline exposure.

On the pile — nothing pierces it

Upper and lower clamp hoops bolted around the PHC pile head
Upper & lower hoops — HDG steel, bolt-on. Loads transfer through friction and bearing.
Frame bolted to the hoop ears — bolted joint, no field welds
Frame bolts to the hoop ears — 0 site welds, 0 drilled holes in the pile.

Driven, clamped, built — five steps

Step 1 — PHC piles driven to depth and line
01 · Drive the piles
Step 2 — clamp hoops bolt around the pile head
02 · Bolt the hoops
Step 3 — columns, tilt beam and brace bolt to the ears
03 · Raise the frame
Step 4 — purlins cross-tie bays into a continuous table
04 · Tie the bays
Step 5 — clamp the PV and clip the drainage
05 · Mount the modules

Benefits

  1. Bolt-on clamp hoops grip the Ø300–500 mm pile head — 0 site welds, 0 drilled holes, no grout collar; re-levellable before final torque.
  2. Four corrosion systems for the waterline — HDG hoops ≥85 µm, ZAM C-profiles ≥275 g/m², zinc-flake fasteners ≥1000 h salt spray, anodized Al + SS304 clamps.
  3. Five bolted steps raise the array from a barge, pontoon or causeway — designed to ≤50 m/s wind and ≤1.4 kPa snow at pile spacing up to 7 m.

Applications

Fishponds & aquaculture, tidal flats & coastal sites, reservoirs & lakes, and soft-soil ground — arrays that stand in permanently wet conditions.

Engineering basis

Every load path is bolted: two half-hoops transfer frame loads to the pile through friction and bearing — nothing pierces the concrete. Pile length, embedment and spacing are engineered per site (bathymetry, soil, wind zone); the diagonal brace takes wind and uplift, and purlins cross-tie bays into a continuous table.

  • Site-specific stamped design; fastener coating salt-spray tested ≥1000 h; Zn-Al-Mg frame coating ≥275 g/m²

Installation and packing notes

Driven, clamped, built — five bolted steps: drive the piles, bolt the hoops, raise the frame, tie the bays, mount the modules and clip the drainage. No site welding, no wet trades; fast to raise from a barge, pontoon or causeway.

Frequently asked questions

Does anything get welded, drilled or grouted on site?

No. Two galvanised half-hoops bolt around the pile head and carry every load through friction and bearing — 0 site welds, 0 drilled holes, no grout collar.

How does it survive standing water and salt air?

Four corrosion systems, each matched to its job: HDG hoops (≥85 µm), ZAM C-profiles (≥275 g/m², self-healing at cut edges), zinc-flake fasteners (≥1000 h salt spray) and anodized aluminium clamps on stainless bolts.

What pile sizes and spacing does it use?

PHC spun piles Ø300, 400 or 500 mm at up to 7 m spacing — length, embedment and spacing are engineered to each site's bathymetry, soil and wind zone.

What warranty do I get?

12 years, in writing — on a structure with a 25+ year design life. Proven over water: a 30 MW fishery-solar plant in Vietnam runs on this system.
