3. How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • respond to inquiries and provide quotations, engineering support, order support, or other requested services;
  • evaluate project requirements and communicate with customers, distributors, EPCs, suppliers, and other business partners;
  • operate, secure, maintain, and improve our website;
  • send updates where you have requested them and manage communication preferences;
  • prepare, authorize, publish, verify, and measure content on Solaracks’ official social-media pages;
  • authenticate authorized administrators and maintain secure application access;
  • detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical problems;
  • comply with applicable law, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims; and
  • create aggregated or de-identified business and website statistics.

Where applicable, we rely on consent, steps requested before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and protecting our business and communicating with business customers. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. Cookies and analytics

Our website may use essential cookies and similar technologies needed for security, language preferences, forms, and website operation. With your consent where required, we may also use analytics technologies, including Google Analytics, to understand website use and improve performance.

You can manage cookies through the consent controls provided on the website, where available, and through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect website functions.

5. Social-media integrations

Solaracks uses official platform tools and APIs to manage its company pages. For example, the Solaracks LinkedIn application is intended to help authorized personnel prepare and publish content to the Solaracks LinkedIn Page and verify publication results.

We request only the platform permissions needed for the approved business purpose. Authentication tokens and application credentials are restricted to authorized systems and personnel and are not intended to be included in public content. We do not use the Solaracks company-page integration to publish to an individual’s personal profile unless that person separately and expressly authorizes such use.

Content published to a social-media Page, along with associated names, reactions, comments, and other platform activity, may be visible to the public under the relevant platform’s settings and privacy policy. You may revoke platform authorization using the settings provided by that platform or contact us for assistance.

6. How we share information

We may share personal information only as reasonably necessary with:

  • website hosting, content-management, email, security, analytics, and technical service providers;
  • social-media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X when we use their services or APIs;
  • professional advisers, auditors, insurers, or authorities where necessary for legal or compliance purposes;
  • logistics, engineering, manufacturing, sales, and other business partners when needed to respond to or perform a request; and
  • a successor or relevant party in connection with a merger, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

We do not sell personal information. We do not authorize service providers to use personal information for their own unrelated purposes.

7. International transfers

Because we serve international markets and use global service providers and social-media platforms, information may be processed in countries other than the country where it was collected. Where required, we use appropriate contractual, organizational, or other safeguards for such transfers.

8. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including responding to inquiries, supporting business relationships, maintaining security and audit records, and meeting legal, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution requirements.

Social-media access tokens are retained only while needed for the approved integration and may expire or be revoked. Publication and operational logs are kept only for as long as needed for security, troubleshooting, approval records, and platform compliance. Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information and applicable requirements.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. These include limiting access, separating content approval from publication authority, using secure credential storage, and maintaining operational records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal information; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or complain to a competent data-protection authority.

To make a request, email info@solaracks.com and describe the request and your relationship with Solaracks. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message or by contacting us.

Our website and business services are directed to business users and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through these services.

Our website may link to or interact with services operated by other organizations. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. This Policy does not control how LinkedIn, Meta, X, Google, or another third party independently processes information.
