Desert heat, UV and dust
Long aluminium rail runs see large day-night temperature swings; splice design allows for thermal movement, and UV-resistant EPDM pads isolate panels and dissimilar metals at contact points. Structural profiles are AL6005-T5 aluminium with A2-70 stainless hardware — materials that need no coating maintenance over the system’s life.

Coated roof screws passed 1,000 hours of neutral salt spray with no red rust, and SS316/A4 fasteners are available where chloride exposure demands them.
