A 723 kWp rooftop array has been commissioned on Solaracks mounting, spanning several metal-roofed factory sheds on one industrial site. The structures used clamps matched to the roofs’ sheet profile, delivered as a single kitted bill of materials that covered every shed.
The engineering picture. Multi-shed rooftops multiply the usual risks: several roof geometries, several edge zones, one commissioning date. The engineering calculation sized the array per shed against the site’s design wind, and the kitting carried that structure through to the crates — each bundle labelled for its shed, so crews worked across the site in parallel instead of sorting hardware. Zero-penetration profile clamps kept the roof sheets, and their warranties, intact.
Why it matters. Bangladesh’s garment and textile factories are moving to rooftop PV at scale, and long-span sheds like these are the typical canvas. A commissioned 723 kWp reference shows the clamp system, the kitting logic and the 24-hour engineering-design process working at that scale. The full case, alongside other flagship installations, is on the projects page; roof system details live under roof mounting systems.
